A Hymn of Healing for the Church

Br Michael Herry One of the greatest sadnesses for our Church in modern times has been the occurrence of sexual abuse of the young by some members of the clergy and religious, and the covering up of this abuse. The ‘Hymn of Healing for the Church’ is offered as a way forward, firstly in helping us all to come to a deep and sorrowful awareness of what has occurred and the crimes committed against the innocent. Thereafter, we ask God for forgiveness, and healing and justice for all those involved, most especially of course, the victims of the abuse.
