“The idea for the EASTER PRAYER Song Cycle came to me as I was preparing the Easter music for my parish. I collated hymns from my original repertoire that would be suitable for the Easter Masses and Services, hymns that would reflect the message of Easter and sing praise to Our Lord at this beautiful season.
I also believed it would make a special contribution for those in our community and everywhere, who could listen, pray and reflect but not be present at some of the services; and that the beautiful words of my collaborators, Monica O’Brien and Ronelle McKay, would bring the warmth of spirituality, hope and joy to all.
