Journey of Faith

Written for the Jubilee year 2025 with a focus on consecrated life, Journey of Faith celebrates the joy that comes from being a witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ. The song links with scripture including the prophetic words of Simeon in Luke’s Gospel ‘My eyes have seen your salvation’ and ‘Jesus is a light to us all’ (Luke 2:30 & 2:32)

The bridge uses a repeated phrase as a prayerful interlude ‘May the God of Hope fill you with joy’ (Romans 15:13) Journey of Faith is suitable to use throughout the Jubilee year. With themes of faith, joy, hope, witness, light and justice, it can also be used at other times in celebrations for all ages, congregations, schools, youth and young adults alike. Journey of Faith can be used in Mass most suitably as a thanksgiving hymn.

The music is arranged for piano/vocal and for guitar/piano/vocal (lead sheet)
