This round, which becomes a 4-voice canon is from Psalm 80, celebrating the grape harvest. The vineyard is a symbol of the garden planted by God, in which we are the laborers working to produce a rich harvest. The psalm describes how Israel was chosen by God, but she went her own way, repeatedly, and yet God was always faithful to the promises once made, that we would all enjoy the fruits of this harvest in the Messianic banquet.
