Simple Psalms: Grail Text Edition Yr A

Simple Psalms are just that: simple, melodic settings of the psalms in a range accessible for congregation and cantor, with easy keyboard accompaniment and guitar chords.

This volume contains all the responsorial psalms for every Sunday in Year A, as well as major feasts. Set to the familiar melodies of the original Simple Psalms settings, this edition uses the Grail texts of the psalms and ICEL refrains just as they are found in the current Australian Lectionary.

A calendar is provided showing which psalm and verses should be sung on any given Sunday or feast such as All Saints and the Assumption, and a Topical/Ritual Index gives suggestions of appropriate psalms for celebrations of sacraments and events such as graduations and commissioning, weddings and funerals.
