Strength

This song aims to help the children through times of worry and fear. The opening
line is an acknowledgement of how they can often feel, and the verses between the
repeat signs ask God for peace and strength to help them face their concerns.
This song may be sung either as a personal meditation or in a group. When sung as
a personal meditation, feel free to leave as much space as necessary between each
repetition. When sung as a group, select a leader to decide when to pause between
repetitions and indicate when all are to sing again. The leader should also indicate
when the ending ‘give me strength’ is sung.
